How to choose your diamond — the 4Cs
- Cut — controls sparkle. A well-cut diamond reflects light beautifully even at lower colour and clarity grades. Excellent or Very Good cut is the priority.
- Colour — D (colourless) to Z (light yellow). G–H is the value sweet spot — appears white in a finished setting but costs noticeably less than D–F.
- Clarity — FL to I3. VS1–VS2 stones are eye-clean (inclusions only visible under 10x magnification) and represent the best clarity-to-price balance.
- Carat — the diamond’s weight. Pricing is non-linear: a 1 ct stone costs more than two 0.50 ct stones of similar quality. Shape can also make a stone look larger than its weight suggests.

Gold karatage options
- 14K (58.5% pure gold) — the most durable choice. Best for daily wear, men’s rings, and prong settings where stone security matters.

- 22K (91.6% pure gold) — maximum gold content. Ideal for ceremonial pieces and high-purity gifting.

Bangle sizing
Bangle size is measured as the inner diameter in inches (commonly 2.4, 2.6 or 2.8). At our Kathmandu showroom we’ll fit you with sizing rings to find the precise inner diameter. Bangles are made to a fixed inner diameter and aren’t resizable — openable kada-style designs are a good workaround if size may change.
